  • Chanukah ends the evening of December 10

They covered the school with tons of Chanukah decorations and are making Chanukah a part of everyday lessons.

Sharing Chanukah with the community is a big part of the holiday, so they have also light menorahs across Charlotte and even had a menorah parade to give the kids a sense of pride.

Rabbi Yossi Groner said “I can't de-emphasize the spiritual importance of this holiday and why this is about religious freedom, freedom of the spirt, but at the same time it manifests itself in a time of a lot of fun and games. It’s a very exciting time in the Jewish community, especially for the children."

Chanukah ends the evening of December 10.
