Brrrr. It is a cold Tuesday all around the region!
In spite of plenty of sunshine in the foothills and piedmont, highs will struggle to make it into the mid and upper 40s. Up in the mountains, a few snow showers remain possible with highs only in the upper 20s.
An uptick in mountain snow showers is likely as we head into this evening. Outside of that, a very cold and quiet night tonight is expected with mountains lows between 10 and 16 degrees and piedmont lows between 20 and 25.
Wednesday will remain chilly with another sub-freezing day in the High Country with piedmont highs in the 40s.
Thursday will be a little milder, but still chilly. Our next storm system will then swing in with some weekend rain chances.
