GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The storm system that brought us our cold wet weather the past few days will be a major winter storm for the northeast U.S.

  • Skies should clear overnight
  • Warmer temperatures during the afternoon
  • Dry weather for the weekend into next week

Clearing skies overnight will make way for plenty of sunshine for Friday. While is will be warmer, highs in the mid 50s, afternoon temperatures will still be running on the cooler than what we expect this time of the year.

Dry weather continues through the weekend into next week. Monday looks to be the warmest day with highs approaching 60. The rest of the shortened work week and Thanksgiving look to be dry and cool with highs in the mid 50s.
