MOUNT HOLLY, N.C. -- Mount Holly police are asking for the public's help after a man was shot to death Sunday morning.
- A man was shot and killed in Mount Holly.
- Police initially responded to the scene in reference to a man with a stab wound.
- It is Mount Holly's first homicide since April 2017.
It happened on Louise Avenue. It is the first homicide in Mount Holly since April 2017.
Police say the victim is 30-year-old Isaac Geovanni Arawo Lorenzo.
They originally responded to the scene in reference to a man with a stab wound to the chest.
Upon further examination, the medical examiner’s office determined the victim had been shot once in the chest with a firearm.
No arrests have been made at this time.
