ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. --  A Red Springs church was full Friday night as dozens of people came out to pray for Hania Aguilar, the missing Lumberton teenager.

The vigil was held at Saint Andrews Catholic Church, the church Aguilar and her family attend.

They came to hope for a miracle a miraculous return of the young teenager they all know.

"Most people that come here, they are parents, they have kids and it's hard. It's hard," church member Juan Corvetto said.

The congregation has been praying every day since Monday when the teenager was taken. Her mother made a special request that a prayer vigil be held for her daughter.

"As a matter of fact, that was one of the first things she, the mother, asked to do. When she was at the police station on Monday she got in touch with me," Corvetto said.

While uncertainty remains about her, Aguilar's church family keeps praying.

"We believe she's in the hand of God and everything is going to be fine," Corvetto said.
