CONCORD, N.C. -- For the fourth time this week, a gun has been found at a Charlotte area school.

  • The gun was found at Central Cabarrus High School
  • It was found in a student's backpack
  • Two students are facing felony charges           

This time it was found in Cabarrus County. Jalen Dixon and Siearira West are charged with having a gun at Central Cabarrus High Friday.

Investigators say Dixon brought the stolen gun to school then gave it to West. Officials found it in her backpack.

"I think we're doing the best we can. I don't think there are any other things that can be done without seeming like a prison, without restricting the freedoms of the people that go there,” senior Noah Taylor said.

Both are facing felony charges.
