GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Definitely improving weather as we hit the weekend.

• Plenty of sunshine Saturday
• Temperatures will peak in the upper 50s to low 60s
• Scattered showers Monday

The system that brought heavy downpours Friday evening has moved off to the east and high pressure is building in with cooler and drier air.

Expect ample sunshine for Saturday as afternoon temperatures peak in the upper 50s to low 60s.

Sunday will be off to a cold start with lows ranging from the mid to upper 30s. Sunshine the first part of Sunday will give way to some clouds through the afternoon, highs will be in the low to mid 60s. 

The work week will be off to a soggy start with scattered showers Monday and Tuesday.
