NORTH CAROLINA -- Check your freezer because several frozen foods have been recalled.

  • Nearly 2.5 million pounds of frozen Taquitos recalled due to possible salmonella and listeria contamination
  • SK Food Group also announced that it will be recalling Jenny Craig Chicken Wrap with BBQ Sauce
  • Taquitos produced from July 1 through October 10; Wraps produced from October 15 of 2017 to October 18 of 2018

Ruiz Food Products is recalling nearly 2.5 million pounds of frozen Taquitos due to possible salmonella and listeria contamination.

The recall impacts Taquitos produced from July 1 through October 10. 

The USDA says the Taquitos should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

SK Food Group also announced that it will be recalling Jenny Craig Chicken Wrap with BBQ Sauce.

The food items produced from October 15 of 2017 to October 18 of 2018 reportedly contain vegetables that may contain bacteria.

Bakkavor Foods, the company who makes all these products, also recalled 795,261 pounds of ready-to-eat meat and poultry products, such as Harris Teeter Deli-Bakery brand bacon, egg and cheese burritos, and chicken sausage, egg white and cheese breakfast burritos
