ORANGE COUNTY, N.C. – A Graham man is waking up in prison for killing the mother of his child.

• Robert Mace sentenced to 16-20 years behind bars
• Crash happened in September 2016 on I-85
• Mace had a blood alcohol level of .12

On Monday an Orange County judge formally sentenced Robert Mace, 41, to 16-20 years behind bars.

Mace was found guilty of driving drunk on I-85 in September 2016. He crashed into a tractor trailer and a truck, killing Lisa Parker, 35.

Mace had a blood alcohol level of .12, 50 percent higher than the legal limit, at the time of the crash.

He also had cocaine in his system.
