CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- It feels more like November outside this Sunday! Temperatures will struggle to get out of the 50s and the breezy conditions will make it feel even colder.

  • Temperatures will be in the 50s
  • Breezy conditions will make it feel cooler
  • Frost Advisory in effect later tonight

The skies will remain sunny all day and as we get into the late afternoon hours, the winds will gradually weaken.

Freeze warnings are posted for the mountains, foothills, northern and western Piedmont areas Sunday night where temperatures will drop to freezing or colder. Some of the colder spots in the mountains may dip briefly into the upper 20s.

Across the Charlotte metro region and points eastward, a Frost Advisory is in effect. If you have tender plants outside and want to keep them around for a few more weeks, you will want to cover them or bring them indoors if possible.

Monday will be another sunny day and it will be a little bit warmer. Temperatures will stay on the cooler side of average with highs across the Piedmont in the low to mid 60s. In the mountains, afternoon temperatures will climb into the low and mid-50s.
