CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Police in Charlotte are investigating a shooting at a Northwest Charlotte home overnight.

  • A shooting occurred on Bristle Lane in Charlotte overnight.
  • One adult was struck in the knee.
  • Three children were inside the house, none of them were hurt. 

The shooting happened on Bristle Lane.

 Police say two people fired shots at the house.

The house had three children inside, but none of them were hurt.

One adult was struck in the leg and taken to the hospital.

A neighbor’s car was sprayed with bullets.

This comes after police say they increased patrols and resources as of this summer.

CMPD says they’ve seen a 50 percent increase in these types of shootings from this time last year.
