SALISBURY, N.C. -- Early voting begins tomorrow in North Carolina and today a member of the first family is stumping for votes in the Tar Heel State.

Rowan County veterans were extremely excited to have Lara Trump stop at Thelma's for a quick cup of coffee but she wasn't just here to say hello.

Instead, she came with congressman Ted Budd and Congressman Richard Hudson to talk to citizens and encourage them to get out and vote red in the mid-term elections.

The first daughter in law took time to speak with veterans who meet every Tuesday and hear about what they think of the current administration.

She also made a point to list the various things the Trump organization has been doing to help take care of veterans.

However, her biggest point of conversation was talking about the impending midterm elections.

During her speech, Trump told veterans if they do not keep those red seats in congress, she believes democratic elected officials will try to impeach her father in law.

Early voting starts tomorrow.
