CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- After some rain Tuesday and unseasonably warm temps, we'll see a clearing sky Wednesday afternoon.

Looks like sunshine at least through later Friday.

Our secondary boundary, Wednesday, will unlock the door for some colder fall temps. Mid 60s for highs across the Piedmont and mid 50s in the mountains.

The weekend will bring yet another cold front and the chance for some rain Saturday. Sunday clearing, and some of the coldest air yet, this Fall season, will arrive early next week.
