As such, the piedmont should be dry with partly cloudy to partly sunny skies. Our mountain counties will see the chance for a few showers and storms as Saturday afternoon unfolds.

Sunday will see a chance for a few showers for the Charlotte region later in the afternoon.  Mountain counties will see a better chance for scattered showers and storms Sunday.
