Fortunately, most of North Carolina is in for another dry weather day.  Some computer models are hinting that a few isolated showers could pop up by late afternoon or evening.  If that happens, it mainly be for areas around the Triangle to the north.  We put the chance to see one of these brief showers late Thursday at just 20%.

Much of the day will feature plenty of sunshine with a few fair weather clouds in the afternoon.  It will be quite warm again with highs in the mid 80s around the Triangle to the upper 80s in the Sandhills.

Warm weather will continue into the weekend.  Highs in the mid to upper 80s are forecast from Friday through Sunday.

The chance for scattered showers and storms will increase around the end of this upcoming weekend into next week.
