NORTH CAROLINA -- Drivers from neighboring states are being advised to avoid driving through North Carolina completely in the wake of Florence.

Reporter Greg Angel spotted signs on Interstate 95 North in Savannah that told drives to take Interstate 16 and Interstate 75 toward Chattanooga in order to avoid the road closures in North Carolina and north areas of South Carolina. 

 

 

 
 
For those coming on I-95 through Virginia, they are being told to go through Tennessee to take I-75 to Georgia.
