MARION, N.C. -- More than 20,000 people hit the streets of Marion for the inaugural Big Foot Festival.

  • Nearly 100 vendors, bounce houses and games lined Main Street
  • Organizers say the festival is a success 

92 vendors, bounce houses and even games lined Main Street as people from all over came to the event. Some people participated in the big foot call and big foot knock contest.

Organizers say there's something at the event for everyone.

 

 

"We have bouncy houses for the kids. We have food, any kind of food you would like. We have vendors craft vendors, big foot vendors. We have big foot experts, just a great time for the family," organizer John Bruner said.

Organizers say the festival is a success, and something that will be coming back next year.
