WAKE COUNTY, N.C. -- A South Carolina woman named Moonshine was arrested for driving while impaired in Wake County Saturday.

• A woman named Moonshine was arrested for DWI.
• Arrest happened at a Knightdale gas station.
• She also faces child abuse charges. 

According to arrest warrants, Moonshine Marie McAbee, 30, was arrested by a Knightdale police officer at the Exxon gas station on Poole Road. 

Additionally McAbee faces charges for misdemeanor child abuse. 

She was transferred into the custody of the Wake County Sheriff's Office and later released. 

She is expected in court on Sept. 21.
