GREENSBORO, N.C. -- We have a fairly quiet weather forecast for you over the next few days. Some drier air has taken up residence in our portion of the Carolinas, and that will mean most locations will be dry. Sure, an isolated shower or storm can't be ruled out, but the rain chances in any one location today, tomorrow, and Thursday are very small.

Highs today will top out in the mid to upper 80s. Look for highs in the 88-90 degree range tomorrow, and then I expect lower 90s Thursday.

A cold front will slowly approach the region closer to the end of the week, and that will result in the return of better scattered shower and storm chances Friday through the upcoming weekend.
