WAKE FOREST, N.C. -- Wake Forest police are looking for the people behind graffiti found over the weekend on the Sanford Creek Greenway.
- Damage is estimated at $3,000.
- Incident happened late Saturday or early Sunday.
Police believe vandals tagged the signs between 9 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. Sunday.
The graffiti showed crude, sexual images and paintings of swastikas, which have now been temporarily covered.
It's expected to cost up to $3,000 to clean up and replace the signs.
