CITRA, Fla. -- The search for a 9-year-old girl, who was listed as missing and endangered, has been canceled, according to Marion County Sheriff's Office on Friday.

Chelsea M. Phillips was last seen on Thursday, July 12, at around 2 p.m. after getting off her school bus at her home on 2475 NE 165th St. in Citra, according to deputies.

"... Chelsea Phillips has been located at a friend’s house and is safe," deputies stated in a tweet.

However, before noon on Friday, her search has been canceled by the Sheriff's Office.
