LEXINGTON, N.C. – A woman allegedly bit her boyfriend repeatedly after he turned the television channel.

• Police responded to a home in Lexington on Saturday.
• Brandon McDowell had injuries consistent with bite marks on his body.
• McDowell says Abby Saunders bit him repeatedly when he changed the TV channel. 

According to the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office, they responded to a call at 998 Old NC Highway 109 Saturday.

At the home, they found the boyfriend, 29-year-old Brandon McDowell, who had injuries consistent with bite marks on his neck, arm and forearm.

He also had a red mark on his chest, where he said his girlfriend hit him.

McDowell told authorities that he walked into the bedroom and his girlfriend, 21-year-old Abby Saunders, was watching TV when he turned the channel. According to McDowell, in response, Saunders became mad and began attacking him.

The sheriff's office has not said if there are any charges.
