LENOIR, N.C. – A woman is charged with murder in connection to an overdose death.

  • Erica Haas is facing a murder charge 
  • Hanna Kincaid died from a fentanyl overdose
  • Police say Haas delivered the drugs to Kincaid

Hanna Kincaid was found dead in Lenoir on May 1 and officials say she died from a fentanyl overdose.

According to Lenoir police, 23-year-old Erica Haas delivered the drugs to Kincaid. She is charged with second-degree murder by distribution of unlawful substance.

This incident is still under investigation. More charges may be forthcoming.
