CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Celestial Summer arrived very early Thursday morning.  We've been in meteorological Summer since June 1.  Bottom line, hot and muggy continues until a cold front finally drags across the region early next week.

• We'll continue with a daily chance for showers and storms Friday, Saturday and Sunday
• A cold front will slowly drop across the area Monday
• Weather in mid 80s next week

We'll continue with a daily chance for showers and storms Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Although, as of this post, Saturday wasn't looking very active and Sunday might be a bit of a struggle. 

The cold front will slowly drop across the area Monday. Thus, expect a more active weather pattern Monday, until the cold front clears our region.

The middle of next week, behind the boundary, holds some hope for a few days of mid 80s.
