CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Police are looking of answers after a 51-year-old man's body is found in east Charlotte.

• Jogger found the body of Jose Chicas on Milton Road
• Police officers are planning to step up patrols in the area
• A reward is available for information leading to an arrest

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers say a jogger came across the body of Jose Chicas on Milton Road near The Plaza Thursday morning.

Police say they're stepping up patrols in the area and a reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.

Later Thursday, police were called to a second report of a body found in the same area. They say they don't believe any foul play was involved.
