NORTH CAROLINA -- A 10 person team of emergency managers and fire service officials departed Saturday for Hawaii as a response to the erupting Kilauea volcano.
- Team will serve for a total of 14 days
- Come from emergency management agencies in Bladen, Gates, Lee, McDowell, Moore and Onslow counties, as well as fire departments in Cary, Charlotte, and Greensboro.
- Will work from an emergency operations center in Hilo supporting the Hawaii County Defense agency
