RALEIGH-DURHAM INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, N.C. – Expect a lot of company if you’re flying out of Raleigh-Durham International Airport this weekend.

The airport expects a record number of passengers.

The increase in travelers comes from college graduations and Mother's Day weekend.

Officials say more than 36,000 daily passengers were projected at RDU Thursday and Friday with that number nearing 37,000 on Monday.

Peak travel hours will be between 4 and 7 a.m. Monday and weekend totals are expected to exceed more than 133,000 travelers.

Airport officials recommend travelers arrive at least two hours early and check parking status on their website.
