Rep. Richard Hudson joins Capital Tonight's Tim Boyum to talk about issues of the day.

  • Hudson says part of combatting human trafficking is awareness.
  • Hudson wants community resources to keep schools safe.
  • Hudson says Meuller should be allowed to finish his investigation into President Trump, but doesn't need to drag it out.

Hudson says the United States has a real human trafficking problem and part of fixing that problem is spreading awareness.

When asked on issues of guns and school safety Hudson says, “I’ve been working on this for a number of years, just trying to get resources to educators, to health care providers, to law enforcement, to help identify kids in crisis before they reach a breaking point, like the student in Parkland did.”

When it comes to the Meuller investigation, Hudson says Meuller should be allowed to complete it but needs to conclude shortly.

Capital Tonight airs every weeknight at 7 p.m. and midnight.
