What a fantastic weekend we got to enjoy! Full sunshine throughout with pleasant afternoon conditions.

Temperatures were chilly as we began our Monday, but a fantastic day is unfolding to wrap up the month of April. Under a sunny sky, most piedmont spots should hit 70 or better with mountain highs in the 60s.
A big-time warming trend then arrives. Highs will surge well into the 70s for the mountains starting tomorrow, and through the foothills and piedmont, look for afternoon highs Tuesday through Friday to top out at 80 or better. Our warmest days will likely be Thursday and Friday with lots of mid, and maybe some upper 80s for the piedmont. Over toward the Sandhills and down into the midlands of South Carolina, some spots could even clip 90.
A weakening cold front approach this weekend. At this point, I am not terribly impressed with this system, so I've kept rain chances relatively low.
