CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A third suspect in a deadly shooting in Charlotte on Friday is now in custody.

  • Teens arrested for murder of Eskinder Asefaw

Police say 17-year-old Tavone Smith and two 15-year-old males, who haven't been identified because of their age, shot 26-year-old Eskinder Asefaw at an apartment complex on Wembley Drive.

The second 15 year old was found with a gun and stolen car on campus Monday.

This is the 16th homicide in the city this year, three of them committed by teenagers.

They've all been charged with murder.
