CLEVELAND COUNTY, N.C. -- Authorities say that a person was struck by three different drivers, with the initial hit-and-run being fatal.

A male subject riding a bike was struck Sunday overnight. Officials say the person was riding with the flow of traffic.

Early Monday morning, a crash occurred on US-74 between Shelby Road and Patterson Road, closing all lanes.

The two drivers that hit the body Monday morning are not being charged as authorities say that the subject was already deceased when they crashed.

The person died in the hit-and-run is from Florida.

That person's name has not been released yet, and no charged have been filed.

Officials believe the suspect was driving a 2003-2007 Chevy Silverado.
