CHARLOTTE -- Videos showing two senior dogs at a Charlotte garage have gone viral.

Many comments theorize that the dogs have been mistreated or are malnourished. But according to the CMPD Animal Control Unit, who have received "dozens" of calls and visited the property five times this month, they're in acceptable conditions for dogs of their age.

The videos were taken at Glenn Automotive on West Boulevard in Charlotte. 

We spoke with the owner of the dogs who says they're 14 and 17 years old, and he doesn't plan to put them down. 

"You wouldn't put your grandma to sleep because she couldn't walk would you," says owner, James Glenn.

The dogs remain in Glenn's care.
