BURKE COUNTY, N.C. -- A student at Freedom High School was arrested Thursday night for communicating threats.

Chauncey Ellis Miller, 16, allegedly wrote a threat inside the school that then circulated on Snapchat.

Upon learning of the threat, the principal immediately made conact with the Student Resource Officer who conducted several interviews.

Following the interviews a warrant was issued for Miller's arrest. He has since been given a custody release. 

Miller was already facing charges for several traffic violations including hit & run.
