CONOVER, N.C. -- Conover Police officers are investigating two robberies that happened in the past 4 days.

Investigators say someone robbed the Circle K Tuesday night at around 7 p.m. The suspect stole $95 and pretended to have a gun.

Just a mile away on Sunday, someone targeted the Dollar General at closing time. This suspect did have a gun and stole more than $700.

Officers don't believe these two incidents are related, but are looking into if there is a connection to another Dollar General robbery that happened last week in Hildebran.
