Cold front will swing through the area overnight and bring a decent chance of rain for much of the region. A rumble of thunder will be possible.  Skies will start clearing Tuesday morning with plenty of sunshine later in the afternoon.

Mountain counties could see some "up slope" snow Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday night.

Temperatures for the mountains will be falling through the day Tuesday.  Out across the Piedmont, we'll warm into the lower 60s before colder air arrives in the afternoon.  No Arctic outbreak is heading out way.  We'll likely see temps trending several degrees above the norm as the week and weekend unfold.
