CHARLOTTE -- The Cleveland County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man authorities call a dangerous gang member.

Antarious Byers, 24, has a criminal history with the department.

Most recently law enforcement say they tied him to the murder of a mother of two, Deasia Washington, a cold case from 2016.

The FBI is looking for suspected involvement with the Nine Trey Blood street gang.

"My biggest concern is when law enforcement does approach him, we're not hurt because apparently his individual has no conscience and has no regard for human life," said Cleveland County Sheriff Alan Norman.

The sheriff's office is working to establish a reward that will lead to Byers' arrest.
