Warmer days are in the forecast as we head into the weekend. It will feel much more like spring by Sunday and Monday.

Many areas still dealing with the snow and in those areas much of the sun's energy will go into melting that snow instead of warming the air.

Not as cold tonight as temperatures fall back to the upper 20s. A few icy spots could remain on some secondary roads and neighborhood streets Saturday morning.

Any leftover snow should melt through the weekend as highs on Saturday afternoon will warm to the mid and upper 50s. By Sunday we’ll see temperatures top out around 60 or in the low 60s.

Our next chance for precipitation will be a few passing rain showers late Monday night into early Tuesday morning.
