CABARRUS COUNTY - Fish enthusiasts, get your reels ready!

The North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission released thousands of trout from the mountains to lakes around the Piedmont.

All you need to take part in the fun is a rod, reel and a fishing license -- then the fish are yours for the taking.

Adults 16 and over need a fishing license from the state.  Kids can fish for free.  Frank Liske Park in Cabarrus County is one of the sites with trout. The park also requires you to pay one dollar to fish at their lake, and you can catch up to 7 trout a day while they last.
