RALEIGH -- Christmas is just around the corner and, with just over a month until the big day, Boy Scout Troop 314, of Raleigh, is holding their biggest fundraiser of the year!

Every year, Boy Scout troops all over America sell Christmas trees in order to fund their activities.

According to Scout Master, Bill Campbell, Christmas tree sales account for the majority of their funding for the year.

"We're here for two weekends, right after Thanksgiving and the first weekend in December," says Scout Master Campbell, "This funds our troop for the next year. It allows us to take the boys on various camping trips, summer camp, scholarship for the boys to attend some of these events. And we've been doing this for about 25 years now."

Trees are for sale at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church, at 5801 Falls of Neuse Rd in Raleigh and range in price $45-$100.
