WASHINGTON — Court papers show former Trump campaign aide George Papadopoulos has pleaded guilty to lying to FBI agents in special counsel's Robert Mueller probe.

Papadopoulos is President Trump's former policy adviser. He actually pleaded guilty earlier this month, but it was just made public today.

Papadopoulos is the first Trump campaign official to be charged for interactions between the campaign and Russian associates.

Meanwhile President Donald Trump says Paul Manafort's alleged "misdeeds" were - quote "years ago"... Insisting there was no collusion between his campaign and Russia.

Manafort, Trump's former campaign chairman, and his deputy Rick Gates turned themselves in to the FBI this morning.

They've been indicted on money laundering and conspiracy charges.

The indictiment says the money laundering charges occured through at least 2016.
