HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. -- A Food Lion executive is accused of a sex crime involving a minor in Henderson County.       

Hendersonville police arrested 54-year old Paul LaCroix, of Concord, Wednesday and charged him with conspiracy to commit a first degree statutory sex offense.

In a statement, the grocery store chain said, "Food Lion was recently made aware of the situation involving Paul LaCroix today. He was suspended immediately from the organization, pending further investigation."

LaCroix is out of jail on a $100,000 bond and is expected to appear in court Friday.
