RALEIGH -- A new documentary from Ava DuVernay's film collective, ARRAY, will be screened in several different cities across the country this month, and Raleigh is one of them.

ARRAY acquired Teach Us All, a documentary directed by Sonia Lowman.

According to the group, the film "examines the U.S. education system from the historic Little Rock Crisis to present day disparities in access that are culminating into a re-segregation of schools across the nation."

It will be released on Netflix on Sept. 25, coinciding with the 60th anniversary of the Little Rock Nine desegregating their high school.

That week, screenings will be held across the country. The one in Raleigh will be screened at East Millbrook Magnet High School.

DuVernay, the director of films like Selma and 13th, is the first black woman to have a film nomianted for an Oscar.
