KINGS MOUNTAIN, N.C.- Cleveland County parents are upset after a pastor delivered what they call an anti-gay speech to high school seniors during a graduation service held on Kings Mountain High School's campus.

A student says pastor Scott Carpenter told the audience they wouldn't go to heaven if they were homosexual.

Despite the controversy carpenter says he has no regrets.

The service was optional for students. Cleveland County Schools say they will be more cautious about selecting speakers in the future.
