RALEIGH -- A film shot in North Carolina featuring a number of people of color, immigrants, and women local to the state, is tackling the tough topic of immigration. Parallel Parking tells the unusual bond between Dechen, an undocumented worker, and Oscar, a truck driver plagued by addiciton. The movie follows their unique relationship and their equally unique path to America, and the heartaches and trials many immigrants face including homelessness, employment, trauma, identity crisis, and migrant struggling.  

Spectrum News anchor Caroline Blair sat down with two of the show's stars, Keith Kittrelle and Suparna Thies for a look at the feature film that made it to the prestigious Sundance Film Festival's Screenwriters Lab.
