RALEIGH --  The community is rallying together through live music under one common mission this weekend, promoting change.

The Southeast's largest charitable music event Band Together, is rocking its way into Raleigh this weekend helping raise money for a great cause.

Spectrum News anchor Caroline Blair sat down with Band Together NC’s executive director, Thorne Daubenspeck, for a look at this years concert for a cause. Since 2001, the nonprofit has worked to raise millions of dollars for other area nonprofits that work to make our community a better place to live.

This year’s show will be headlines at Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh by the wildly popular alt-rock-pop quartet, Walk the Moon, who will perform their hit single, “Shut Up and Dance." The money raised will help Triangle Family Services, help local families provide access to therapy for about 600 people each year.
