PEMBROKE, N.C. —  Spectrum News anchor Caroline Blair sat down with the University of North Carolina at Pembroke’s chancellor, Dr. Robin Gary Cummings, for an In Depth look at the impact the school is having on its surrounding community.

Dr. Cummings explained why the school is a driving force for regional economic development, and why their Entrepreneur Incubator is helping bring about business. He also discussed the school’s health study that outlines the positive impacts the College of Health Sciences is having on the community. The state budget provided money to help perform the study. Chancellor Cummings says the study looks at the region, possible health care programs and possibly creating a College of Health Sciences.
