Social media is a way to connect with people all over the world, but it's also a way to raise awareness about health concerns. In a new study, UNC Chapel Hill researchers showed just how effective one person can be in generating awareness about skin cancer -- when his or her post and picture is shared thousands of times on facebook. We sit down with the study's lead author, Dr. Seth Noar, a professor at the UNC School of Media and Journalism and researcher with Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.
